Natalia Todorovic

Combining extensive legal experience with empathy, Natalia is dedicated to achieving timely and effective outcomes while ensuring that each of her clients feels heard, respected and supported through the family law process. Conscious of the toll separation and family law litigation can have on families, she supports her clients while providing pragmatic advice to help them resolve cases quickly and cost effectively. She believes that successful family law outcomes are not only about resolving legal issues but also helping clients move forward and rebuild their lives after separation.

  • Biography

    Natalia holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Sciences /Arts from La Trobe University, is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Specialist in Family Law and recognised by her peers in the Best Lawyers in Australia publication in the area of Family Law.

    With over 20 years’ experience, Natalia has represented clients (including third parties) in mediations and court proceedings (including Appeals) in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and State Courts.

    Natalia has recently joined the Melbourne University Law School as a tutor to share her knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal professionals, complementing her work as a family lawyer and reflecting her commitment to legal education and assisting others to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Expertise

    Natalia’s expertise expands across all areas of family law including:

    • complex property matters with large corporate structures, having acted for high-net-worth clients and matters involving asset positions of over $200 million as well acting for individuals and families considering entering into financial agreements prior to a relationship or marriage or for asset protection purposes across Australia;
    • advising and representing individuals in relation to spousal maintenance matters, injunctions and other ancillary issues;
    • representing individuals involved in high conflict parenting matters (including relocation disputes) and cases where specific parenting issues may arise as well as cases involving the overlap between family violence (intervention orders) and family law.
