Georgia Bishop

Georgia is a dedicated and empathic family lawyer who seeks to provide all her clients with timely, frank, and professional advice to navigate their family law issues.

  • Biography

    Georgia commenced her legal career as a legal research assistant before moving into Family Law as a Legal Associate in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1), formerly known as the Family Court of Australia. Prior to working with the Court, Georgia volunteered as a paralegal with the Eastern Community Legal Centre, which included family law, family violence and intervention orders.

    As an Associate, Georgia gained a practical understanding of financial and parenting matters, including relocation, family violence, and complex financial disputes. She applies this experience to advocate for the best outcomes for her clients whether by dispute resolution or litigation.

    Georgia holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law with Honours from Australian Catholic University. She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
