Alana Di Paola

Alana is deeply committed to the practice of family law, having worked in the jurisdiction both during her tertiary studies and since her admission to legal practice. She provides strategic, resolution focused advice to her clients to help them navigate their family law issues and to empower them to make the best decisions they can for themselves.

  • Biography

    Alana holds a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) with Distinction and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Deakin University. During her tertiary studies, Alana volunteered at the Deakin Family Law Clinic where she provided paralegal support in a range of family law matters and at Victoria Legal Aid, including time within the family violence team.

    Prior to joining Kennedy Partners, Alana commenced her legal career working in a full service boutique firm where she practiced exclusively in the family law team. This role allowed her to gain experience and develop technical proficiency in all areas of family law, including divorce, parenting and property matters, family violence intervention orders and family law court proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court of Australia.

    Alana is focused on providing empathetic and rigorous representation for her clients and on advocating to achieve the best possible resolutions for their individual circumstances. She understands that often the stressful realities of separation are not limited to the legal implications and adopts a practical approach to dispute resolution, with a view to help separating families move forward with their lives.

    Alana is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and Victorian Women Lawyers.
